World Youth Horizons is built differently. Our organization is powered by people who believe deeply in giving back, which allows 100% of donations to go directly toward changing children’s lives, with nothing taken out for overhead.

World Youth Horizons was co-founded by entrepreneurs Jeff Hoffman and Jennifer Workinger, who believe that the same energy, resources, relationships, and determination used to build successful businesses can be used to create extraordinary opportunities for children.

Jeff is a globally recognized entrepreneur and member of the founding team behind Booking.com. Jennifer is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist who has spent years traveling the world and supporting projects that give children a better future.

But this isn’t about us. It’s about the kids.

We believe every child deserves more than food and a roof over their head. They deserve safety, education, opportunity, love, and the chance to dream about what their life can become.

🇺🇬 Vumbula Uganda Youth Home

In Kampala, Uganda, our supporters have helped provide food, clothing, education, medical care, clean water, beds, and other necessities. We helped purchase land and build a permanent home where the children can grow up together in safety.

Now we’re focused on helping Vumbula become self-sustaining.

We’re working toward a sustainable farm with vegetables, livestock, and fish; a bakery where the children and caregivers can learn skills, make bread, and generate income; and a community kitchen that can serve vulnerable children and single mothers throughout the surrounding community.

And we continue helping with the everyday things that can completely change a child’s future ... school fees, uniforms, books, food, healthcare, and basic necessities.

Our work extends beyond Uganda.

At The School of St. Yared in Ethiopia, we’ve helped create educational opportunities for talented children from some of the poorest communities in Addis Ababa, including fully funding a new school building and continuing to support the school.

Through Dream Hustle Code, we help young people from underserved communities in the United States gain exposure to technology, computer science, mentors, and experiences that can open doors they may never have imagined possible.

Our goal isn’t simply to give a child something today.

It’s to give them the tools and opportunities to change their tomorrow.
