The mission of the We Rise Foundation is to provide inclusive swimming programs that create opportunity in sport, foster independence, and develop lifelong skills for underserved children and athletes.
We Rise Foundation founders, Junior and Kendall Temotio, are local entrepreneurs, parents, experts in swimming development, and passionate advocates for adaptive sports. As former athletes and engaging swim coaches and leaders, they have always had a desire to make an impact on youth athletes and develop lifelong swimmers.
Through the We Rise Foundation, their hope is to not only develop programs that meet the needs of todays young athletes with differences, but also to positively influence the heart and mind of their teammates, and inspire other athletic programs to create inclusive programs.

We Rise Aquathlon For All
April 12, 2025 8:30am Registration Deadline: March 24, 2025 Together We Rise. SwimRise Aquatics will host a fundraising event to benefit the Foundation initiatives and spread awareness in the community. 'The We Rise Foundation – Aquathlon For All will be a competitive event that is inclusive and adapted, providing buddies and/or accommodations as needed. The race will include swimming and running and is open to all ages and abilities. The goal of the event is to not only fundraise for the foundation programs including its adaptive aquatics lesson program and paralympic and inclusive competitive teams but also spread awareness for the Foundations overall mission. The Aquathlon will provide a unique opportunity in the community for participants with differences to compete with or without accommodations and for all athletes of varying abilities to compete together.
