Washington Heights Community Choir is a no-audition, adult community chorus in Upper Manhattan. We're a lively, diverse, and welcoming group that loves to sing and believes in the power of music to spread joy and build community. Click here to check out some of our performances!
Thanks to our generous donors, we have remained on our feet for two years and have grown from 25 to over 70 members!
We keep our choir dues low to encourage participation, but they cover only 70% of our costs. Support from donors bridges the gap, helping to fund our Choir Director, accompanist, music licensing, marketing, space rental, insurance, and more.
Here’s how your donation can help:
- $10 will cover a ream of copy paper used to create our music packets - and with 70 members we use a lot!
- $15 will cover 2 copies of a new piece of music for our choir
- $25 will cover our insurance for one month
- $50 will cover the cost of outdoor marketing signage for half the year
- $60 will cover the cost of a pianist for half a rehearsal
- $65 will cover the cost of our rehearsal space for a week
- $100 will cover the cost of riser rental for one of our concerts
Every donation, large or small, will help us keep singing in 2025!
Thank you so much for your support!
