My local community choir needs your help! #GivingTuesday
Hey there, friends and family!
I joined a community choir in the spring, and we lost our funding shortly after that. No, I didn't scare everyone away! But I could use YOUR help to make sure that our little group can keep on singing together. If you can spare a few bucks (or a few hundred!), we'd really appreciate it! Seriously, this group helped me get out of the house and socialize with people after Covid. I really needed that then, and I need it still!

ABOUT THE CHOIR
WHCC is a no-audition community choir, one of a handful in NYC and the only one serving Upper Manhattan. We're a lively, diverse, and welcoming group that loves to sing and believes in the power of music to spread joy and build community!
REBUILDING OUR FOUNDATION
Established in 2016 by a local church, we were disbanded in May 2022 due to budget challenges. We were devastated yet determined to stay together. A resilient bunch, we quickly regrouped and are now reestablishing ourselves as a sustainable, standalone nonprofit.
HELP KEEP THE MUSIC ALIVE
We’re eager to remain on our feet, and become a permanent fixture in our community – but we need your support! Money raised will go toward paying our Choir Director, accompanist, music licensing, marketing, and other administrative costs.
Your donation will keep us singing and help us expand our activities in upper Manhattan!
