U.S. policies have long failed to meet the needs of mothers and families, leaving many struggling without the support they deserve.
The weight of these challenges disproportionately falls on moms, impacting economic growth, creating burdens on taxpayers, and limiting opportunities for families across the country. Yet moms with minor children make up less than 8% of our state legislators and less than 7% of our congressional representatives.
Vote Mama Foundation believes that when moms lead, families and communities thrive. Through research and education, Vote Mama Foundation is working to make it easier for moms to run for and serve in elected office, ensuring more women can represent their communities and help create policies that support families.
