Support Orphans In Indonesia for $40/month

Sponsor an orphan for just $40 a month! Since 2014 the us-Sunnah Foundation has been local and volunteer based with our 100% donation policy you can trust.

AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL OF US!

The Prophet ﷺ was reported to have said:

The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this, and held two fingers together.

With your support, we can help provide basic food to very needy orphans and widows in Indonesia.

Hundreds of widows and orphans await your help to get basic necessities of life. With your donations hundreds of poor souls can be fed and the reward for it is unimaginable.

ABOUT US-SUNNAH

The us-Sunnah Foundation was founded and registered in 2014 with a mission to establish permanent sources of recurring aid for the needy as well as develop long-term plans through the construction of charity centers and orphanages that are self-sufficient and self-sustained.

ABOUT ME

Asalaamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

This is Ali Camarata, founder of the us-Sunnah Foundation. I was born and raised as a Christian in the US and joined the military when I was 17. After 9/11, like many others, I hated Muslims because of what the media said about Islam. While browsing the internet I learned more from dawah sites and ended up converting to Islam. Alhamdulillah!

WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO TO?

The us-Sunnah Foundation is completely local and volunteer based in Tangerang, Indonesia and all donations (less fees) go to food directly to the needy!  The cost of one food package containing staples is $40. The package is enough to feed a small family with orphans for 30 days. This means about 450 meals from your donation. Although the need is much much more, we are aiming at $50,000 this year on LaunchGood.  If you would like to give towards more than just food needs you can help our long-term efforts at launchgood.com/waqf for other needs like food warehouse, low income housing, and more.

Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him said:

Seek out the vulnerable among you. Verily, you are only given provision and support due to your support of the weak.

THIS MAY NOT THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE HELPED US-SUNNAH

The us-Sunnah has been stable and firm in our mission since 2014 and involved in relief work in Indonesia.  We are a registered nonprofit charity in the US and Indonesia. We are thankful to our donors who have in the past donated generously to this noble cause. But the need is always there! You can see our past and current initiatives on our website.

WHERE WE WORK

The us-Sunnah Foundation operates in Indonesia where 51% of the country are designated as living in poverty of under $1 per day and over 8 million children suffer from malnutrition due to extreme poverty and its effects on society.  We are based in Tangerang, Indonesia which is part of the Jakarta area, the second largest city in the world after Tokyo.

HOW WE WORK

The us-Sunnah Foundation is focused on long-term solutions while also providing emergency relief.  Charities often collect donations to help out with one time donations.  While this gives more in the short term it does little to relieve the root of the problem the poor face and are highly inefficient compared to long-term solutions.  Through using donations on purchasing rice fields to generate rice harvests or constructing low-income apartments which receive monthly rent income for hundreds of years to come you can establish reliable and ongoing assistance to the needy.
