LAGO is a research and creative collective on movement, culture and the arts. Our mission is to change the narrative on the global movement of people. 

Every year, LAGO Collective brings together visionary and award-winning artists, designers, researchers and policymakers to re-imagine how we think and speak about the movement of people.

For the 2025 edition titled 'The Moving City', we are working with [Wonder Cabinet](https://www.instagram.com/wonder.cabinet/?hl=en "https://www.instagram.com/wonder.cabinet/?hl=en"), a space for art production and cultural development founded by award winning architectural duo [AAU Anastas](https://www.aauanastas.com/), based in Bethlehem, Palestine. Throughout the evening and beyond we will be fundraising in support of their work, to safeguard, protect and celebrate spaces of wonder across borders and in places where it matters like never before.

Wonder Cabinet is a space for artistic production, social and cultural development in Bethlehem, Palestine.

**The Wonder Cabinet is a space for artistic production, education, social and cultural development inaugurated in Bethlehem, Palestine in May 2023.** 

As a non-for profit company for arts and culture, Wonder Cabinet fosters encounters among individuals and entities from different backgrounds and geographies to conceive and implement original research, educational, and community-building projects encompassing the visual and sound arts, artisanship, design and architecture, food, land-care and heritage, with an approach built on knowledge exchange and cooperative labor. 

Supported by a lively community and operating in collaboration with local and international partners, Wonder Cabinet centers creativity and collectivity to generate unexpected encounters in, with and around the space, with an original program of residencies, exhibitions, research projects, workshops, screenings, performances, listening sessions, lectures, culinary programs, land-care and community-based initiatives. 

The space - a new building designed by founders and architects Elias and Yousef Anastas (AAU Anastas, Local Industries) - comprises a production facility, artist studios, a multipurpose hall, a listening bar and food laboratory, a store, a sound production and Radio Alhara station, and a community garden. 

The Wonder Cabinet is committed to growing a network of collaborative relationships with individuals, private and public entities - local and international - to contribute to the design, sustainability, and implementation of its projects and programs.

Individuals, companies, independent initiatives, and institutions who believe in creativity, research, collective learning and knowledge exchange as tools for resilience and cultural development, have the opportunity to take part in Wonder Cabinet’s life by contributing through financial, in-kind, programmatic and/or technical support.

In relation to the extent of the collaboration, the best return of visibility and dedicated services and opportunities will be designed together with the partners.
