Nine Years of Community, Courage, and Commitment
- Raised
- $2,438
- Goal
- $4,700
For the ninth year, I’m proud to be part of the Friends For Life Bike Rally, cycling more than 600 kilometres from Toronto to Montreal to raise funds for the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA).
What began as my first ride in 2018 has grown into one of the most meaningful commitments in my life. Over the years I've served as a Team Captain, Co-Lead of Fundraising, Co-Chair of the Rally, Co-Lead of Participant Engagement, and even the Rally's first Camping Guru. This community has given me so much, and I’m honoured to continue giving back.
PWA provides practical, life-changing support to people living with HIV/AIDS throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Their programs help people access nutritious food, counselling, treatment support, financial assistance, and other essential services that improve quality of life and foster dignity, health, and connection.
The need for these services remains significant, and every dollar raised through the Bike Rally helps ensure that support is available to those who need it most.
If you're able, please consider making a donation. Your support helps PWA continue its vital work and brings us one step closer to a future free from stigma and barriers to care.
Thank you for supporting me, the Bike Rally, and the incredible work of PWA.
With gratitude and love,
Sam
