The “Light One Candle” program gives the power to purchase gifts to parents of La Asociación de Familias Hispanas de los Tarrytowns (AFHT).\*\*\*\* 

Each $30 donation becomes a coupon that they purchase for $10. 

With that combined $40, La Asociación parents shop for a gift for their child at “All Together Now,” the small local business/toy store on Main Street in Tarrytown.

Temple Beth Abraham (TBA) in Tarrytown, NY, is an inclusive, egalitarian synagogue that uniquely houses both Reform and Conservative congregations under one roof. Founded in the late 19th century, it serves the Rivertowns of Westchester County and welcomes individuals and families of all backgrounds — including interfaith, LGBTQ+, and multigenerational households. Its worship, education, and community programs emphasize connection, learning, and social justice (tikkun olam).

The congregation offers robust children’s education through its religious school and early childhood center, alongside active adult learning, social events, and outreach programs. TBA’s voluntary contribution model replaces traditional dues, reflecting its commitment to accessibility and inclusivity.
