The humanitarian crisis unfolding on the Cambodian border demands urgent attention. This has led to nearly 40,000 families evacuated and 605 schools closed impacting nearly 150,000 students.
Beyond immediate relief, there is a profound need to safeguard the future of the thousands of children whose education has been interrupted by these clashes. Teach For Cambodia's 'Education in Emergencies' expansion directly addresses this.
We recruit and train committed and resilient Cambodian graduates to serve in the most challenging environments, and plan to expand into this conflict-affected region. Our model not only provides critical educational support to vulnerable children but also embeds compassionate, effective leaders within affected communities. Our teacher leaders become lifelong advocates for educational equity, driving both immediate learning gains and long-term systemic improvements.
Your support will enable us to deploy these dedicated changemakers to Northwest Cambodia, providing stability through education now, while simultaneously building the local leadership necessary to create a just and thriving educational landscape for all Cambodian children, regardless of their circumstances.
