Our Majses (Yiddish for “stories”) Polish Jewish stories series is an innovative family education program based on the Taube Center’s pedagogy of object-based learning and educational methodologies, which we have been developing since 2012. The goal is to imbue Jewish ritual objects with the seed of a family majse, inspiring families to create their own memories and traditions at home. At the beginning of the series, each participating family receives a Majses Tool Box, where they can then keep all the ritual objects, recipes, and stories we create together during our sessions. Majses is co-organized with the Warsaw JCC.
Your donation will enable us to provide 18 families with a Majses Tool Box this year, each with 12 objects.
