Summit Point Restorative Initiative

Summit Point has been actively engaged in prison release initiatives for over five years across Missouri and Kansas. We offer comprehensive home plans, targeted programs, and transitional housing services for justice-involved men and women reintegrating into the Kansas City area.

Mary returned to Kansas City after her time in prison, where she met Jeff through our program. They married in 2021 and have recently welcomed their first son. The couple are thrilled to be in the process of purchasing their first home. Jeff has secured a rewarding position as a supervisor, while Mary is in the early stages of launching her own dog training business. Both individuals participated in our program and benefited from our transitional housing services.

We are currently seeking to renovate two of our facility spaces to enhance our capacity for facilitating the release of individuals from the Department of Corrections and local courts into our program. The proposed plan includes the creation of an upgraded shower room and a new bunk room with a capacity of 25 beds.
