For more than 30 years, volunteers have built BUMP into an organization that maintains approximately 110 miles of trail and serves Birmingham’s growing mountain biking community.
Our continued growth has created opportunities that can no longer be managed entirely by volunteers working in their spare time. Hiring BUMP’s first full-time Executive Director will strengthen fundraising, partnerships, trail projects, volunteer coordination, advocacy, and community engagement.
Our goal is to secure $300,000 to fund the position for its first three years. BUMP has already committed $100,000, leaving $200,000 to raise. Your donation will help multiply what our volunteers can accomplish while allowing our existing funds to continue supporting trails and advancing our mission.

More trails, better events, more opportunities for women, veterans, and adaptive riders, stronger advocacy and partnerships, greater access, more places to ride, and more people discovering the sport we all love.
