Black History Month fund
Black History Month was established in 1976 under President Gerald Ford, who encouraged Americans to "seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” Black History Month is a significant and powerful time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black individuals throughout history. To further honor and support this important cause, we have created this fund provide financial resources to initiatives, events, and educational programs that promote awareness and understanding of Black history and culture. By donating to a Black History Month fund, you are actively contributing to the preservation and promotion of Black narratives, as well as empowering future generations with knowledge and inspiration. These funds often support scholarships, community projects, cultural events, and workshops that highlight the experiences, triumphs, and struggles of Black individuals and communities. By participating in a Black History Month fund, you are not only amplifying the voices of marginalized communities but also actively working towards a more inclusive and equitable society.SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization.
