Oklahoma City, OKTo develop and implement cost-effective, programs that meet the needs of a diverse population working to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, abuse and relapse into criminal behavior. All of My Life Matters’ programs strive to help homeless, abused and/or formerly incarcerated individuals achieve permanent self-sufficiency. We pursue our mission through a series of programs which collectively serve homeless, incarcerated and abused individuals every day: Job Search Networking: Networking with temp agencies and hiring agencies – provides homeless and formerly incarcerated individual with transitional work. We also assist with job training, life skills, and educational assistance. Crisis intervention program integration/follow-up – provides temporary housing to victims of domestic abuse. Participants are offered assistance with counseling and benefits advocacy, as well as information on education opportunities. Self sufficiency – acquired through new technologies training (generational changes in technologies) – housing assistance for individuals and families dealing with complex challenges: substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, mental illness, chronic unemployment, etc. Assistance obtaining health benefits, counseling, meds,Id’s and parenting. Social re-entry – Image training (dress & manners) for resume building and job searching. Socio-economic training, Budget training including how to shop and use savings programs.
