Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB) provides immediate disaster relief and recovery to communities that are in crisis resulting from disaster or human conflict. AWB is committed to creating alliances with local community based organizations and treating all who have been affected - survivors, first responders, emergency personnel and other care providers.  AWB uses community-style acupuncture to provide caring, compassionate treatment in a group setting. This model of treatment allows everyone treated to experience relief from stress and trauma together. When the entire group feels calm and quiet, hope, determination and resilience rises powerfully within it.

PERIOD is a youth-fueled nonprofit that strives to eradicate period poverty and stigma through service, education, and advocacy. 

PERIOD. works to end period poverty and stigma through service, advocacy, and education. PERIOD. does this by providing free menstrual products to menstruators in need by partnering with community organizations through our global network of hundreds of partner non-profit organizations, community groups and hundreds of global PERIOD. chapters each month. Our chapters and partners help us distribute period products to menstruators in need in their own communities, host product drives, conduct educational trainings and discuss healthy menstruation to destigmatize periods. PERIOD. has active chapters in over 40 states and over 30 countries.

In order to truly end period poverty, we must end the systemic roots of period poverty. PERIOD. works to help draft, pass and implement policies and legislation to mandate period product in workplaces and schools, as well as repeal the discriminatory tampon tax, which adds to the expensive cost of menstrual products. PERIOD. knows that this new generation of youth leaders will solve period poverty in their lifetime!

The PERIOD Chapter network is the core of our organization. Made up of youth activists, chapters are mostly based in middle schools, high schools, college campuses and young adult community groups. PERIOD believes in the importance of centering youth leadership and activism in the pursuit of menstrual equity, and therefore utilizes resources to empower chapters in their local service, education and advocacy planning. Chapters receive leadership development and advocacy training, helping to focus their efforts on providing access to menstrual products to menstruators experiencing homelessness. They also advocate for equitable policies, working with local institutions such as school districts and local government, to provide access to products for those experiencing need.

Trayarunya Foundation is a nonprofit organization. It is based in Portland, OR. It received its 501C3 nonprofit status in 2017.

The Trayarunya Foundation was established in the year 2016 in India with a motto “Service to Society” and has since then branched out to the USA, and Canada. Our mission is to create opportunities for sustainable change by empowering people through education, enabling an environment that elevates individual potential, and elevating cultures through positive globalization. We are working on education, empowerment, and conservation of our environment. We want to enhance the lives of the less fortunate by providing them with shelter, food, medicine, among other services with a view to promote sustainable development and work on the goals of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is committed to achieving basic needs for all.
Trayarunya’s name embodies these values: “traya” alludes to ‘protection of earth’ or ‘protection of three elements which are air, water and fire; while the word “runya” has its roots in ‘moonlight’ illuminating darkness.

Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation exists to support the improvement and expansion of Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

Founded in 1998, the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation solicits and administer funds and provides financial support for improvement and for expansion of Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital facilities and services. Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital is a 25- bed critical access hospital serving the east Linn County region including Lebanon, Sweet Home, Brownsville and surrounding communities. Since establishment, over $18 million has been raised and distributed to upgrade the hospital and associated clinics, expand services, and enhance the patient experience. Projects funded by the foundation include the addition of healing gardens designed by internationally renowned landscape architect Hoichi Kurisu, a significant remodel of the emergency room and operating rooms at the hospital, and the building of a new 15,000 sq. ft. facility to support patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders.

The current foundation priority is raising funds to support the construction of a new 17,000 sq. ft. family medicine clinic and urgent care in the community of Sweet Home. This project will open in fall 2023 and will include a helipad and pharmacy. This project will significantly increase access to health care. 

Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation 

Pacific Communities Health District Foundation supports health care through Samaritan Pacific Health Services in Newport OR.

Founded by volunteers in 1983, the Pacific Communities Health District Foundation received its 501(c) (3) status in 1985. Our mission is to build healthier communities together by assisting the Pacific Communities Health District and the nonprofit Samaritan Pacific Health Services. We help them acquire equipment, services, and education to enhance the quality of medical care and health-related programs for the 30,000+ community members in our service area -- south, central and east Lincoln County. Samaritan Pacific Health Services operates community clinics in Waldport, Newport, Toledo and Depoe Bay. It also operates Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, a 25-bed, non-profit, federally-designated Critical Access Hospital in Newport. The Pacific Communities Health District is a taxing authority with a five-member elected board tasked with ensuring we have health care in our communities. They own Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital and surrounding buildings. Samaritan Pacific Health Services doesn't turn anyone away for inability to pay or insurance type. 

Our current primary project is the creation of a substance use disorder residential and intensive outpatient recovery center. Oregon is second in the nation for substance use disorder yet 50th for treatment availability. Our local Regional Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Coalition reported that 1,933 Lincoln County residents (4.5% of the adult population) were diagnosed with substance use disorder between 9/1/19 and 8/31/21, yet there are no residential treatment services in Lincoln County. In response, the Pacific Communities Health District purchased a former adult foster care facility in Newport to serve as a 16-bed substance use disorder residential and intensive outpatient facility for adults (18+). Patients will come from across Oregon with priority given to residents of Lincoln County. Programs will include group and individual therapy, medication-assisted treatment and peer-delivered services for people with substance use disorder, including opiates, alcohol, methamphetamines and others. Funds are being raised to equip and furnish the facility; build an 8000-sq-ft addition for a commercial kitchen, a medical exam room, meeting spaces and offices; and remodel the existing 4696 sq-ft NW Biggs facility. As part of its mission, Samaritan Pacific Health Services is committed to operating and maintaining the center in Newport. 

Pacific Communities Health District Foundation

Providing housing payments, meals, and home cleanings to single parents undergoing cancer treatment. 

Through volunteering and donations, *Michelle's Love's Mission* is to help relieve the stress of single parents undergoing cancer treatment. Our organization strives to ease daily responsibilities by offering housing payments, meals, and home cleanings, allowing parents more time to heal and spend with their children.

The Albany General Hospital Foundation supports health care through Samaritan Albany General Hospital and clinics in Albany, OR.

The Albany General Hospital Foundation is committed to supporting Samaritan Albany General Hospital, clinics, patients, and their loved ones, as well as the health and well-being of those who live and work in the community.

Since our inception in 1978, we have helped to fund medical equipment, enhance programs, build Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House, provide financial support for patient and community wellness programs, and help low-income individuals obtain medical care.

Through effective stewardship of donated funds, the Albany General Hospital Foundation is improving access to care, building community, inspiring hope, and leaving a legacy for future generations.

Current projects and initiatives include:

•	Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House: As only one of three hospice houses in the State of Oregon, Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in Albany is an inpatient facility for patients who are near the end of life.  Samaritan Evergreen Hospice strongly supports the goal of many patients to stay wherever they call home up until their final days.  Our hospice house offers a place for managing symptoms, providing respite to a caregiver, and offering room and board.

•	Sarah’s Place: Sarah’s Place provides compassionate medical services for survivors of sexual assault.  As the first sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) center in Oregon, specially trained medical providers care for patients in a discreet environment separate from the emergency department.  Sarah is the name chosen to represent all who have experienced sexual assault.  At Sarah’s Place, we recognize our collective responsibility to provide a safe and private space for anyone needing immediate medical treatment from sexual trauma.  We provide inclusive care for all genders, gender identities, and sexual orientations while also connecting survivors with other community resources.

•	Albany InReach Services:  Albany InReach Services is a volunteer-based team committed to providing free medical and dental care to low-income adults with no insurance.

•	Patient Support: Helping low-income patients with transportation, prescriptions, and medical devices.

•	Innovative Technology: Surgery robotics and state-of-the-art medical equipment.

•	Literacy: Our Reach Out and Read program supports our youngest patients, from birth to 5 years, and their families. Pediatricians start each well-child visit by giving children a new book to take home, discussing with caregivers the benefits of reading, and modeling positive reading interactions with their children.

•	Nutritional support: When food insecure patients are suffering from acute or chronic illnesses, they may not have the adequate calories or protein to facilitate a timely and complete recovery. We are providing food backpacks to this high-risk population, containing 3 days’ worth of meals, snacks, and beverages to assist them in recovery from their illness, as well as educating these patients on where to access long-term emergency food resources in our community.
