We provide a home-away-from-home in our House & Family Rooms for families with children receiving medical care in our communities.

Ronald McDonald Charities of the Piedmont Triad. Inc. serves families caring for a child receiving medical care in our community through our four core programs: (1) Our 36-bedroom House; (2) Our three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms that serve, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Brenner Children's Hospital, Cone Health Women & Children's Center at Moses J. Cone Hospital and Novant Health Maya Angelou Women's Health & Wellness Center at Forsyth Medical Center, respectively; (3) Our five Hospitality Carts serving Brenner Children's Hospital, Cone Health Women & Children's Center, Maya Angelou Women's Health & Wellness Center, Atrium Health High Point Medical Center and Randolph Health, respectively and (4) Our Family Support and Services.

We are dedicated to providing health services for the uninsured, underinsured or those lacking access to affordable, high-quality preventive health care. We annually serve thousands of people in Mecklenburg County and we are a leader in collaborative efforts to improve community health.

Care Ring

Crittenton's mission is to empower women and children through education, health, residential care, and supportive services.

Crittenton's residential programs serve as interventions to help young women from across North Carolina stabilize their lives, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to create better futures for themselves and their children. Clients come to Crittenton in times of crisis: they are pregnant and lack support or resources, they are teen mothers in foster care at risk of being separated from their child, or they are aging out of foster care and lack skills and support to become self-sufficient adults. Crittenton works to address all aspects of clients’ physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, creating long-term change in their families' lives by breaking generational cycles of poverty, family dysfunction and system dependence.

- Maternity Program: serves pregnant women and girls of all ages by facilitating access to prenatal/health care, counseling, vocational/educational services, parenting/childbirth education, case management, trauma responsive programming and connecting to community resources.
- Sarah's House: supports young mothers ages 14-21 and their babies who are both in foster care prepare for independent living focusing on education, counseling, parenting education and life skills.
- Legacy Hall: empowers and supports adolescent females ages 16-21 in foster care by developing educational, vocational, life and social skills that facilitate positive life outcomes.
- Aftercare: ongoing support to promote long-term stability for clients who have completed our residential programs. We provide supplies, counseling, referrals and resources.

Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender equality. 

Together Women Rise champions gender equality because women’s rights are human rights. When women and girls are treated equally, the world is healthier, safer, more peaceful, inclusive, and economically just for everyone.

With hundreds of chapters and supporters across the U.S. and partners globally, our Together Women Rise community learns about and advocates for gender equality issues, gives grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income communities in the Global South, and builds community to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact.

Since our inception in 2003, we have invested more than 11 million in grants and partnerships supporting women and girls around the world and impacted more than 5 million women, girls, family and community members in over 70 countries.
