We reduce deaths from breast cancer by providing access to screening, diagnostics and treatment services for all women.

The Rose addresses any barrier that might keep a woman from caring for her own needs. Studies show women often put personal needs on hold while tending to the needs of others. Many women cite costs and lack of access as reasons they delay preventive services. Yet early detection mammography screenings are the most powerful weapons in the fight against breast cancer—which is 98% curable when detected early.

Every service offered by The Rose is available to the uninsured through one of many sponsorship programs. In fact, the whole purpose of the Empower Her® Sponsorship Program is to ensure any woman has access to breast cancer screening, diagnosis and care. From the initial screening mammogram through diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound and biopsies, as well as access to treatment—all are part of the quality breast health care offered at The Rose.

Big Sister Little Sister is a national mentoring program with a global impact that promotes life skills, wellness, principles of self with a focus on personal and professional development. We strive to make a positive and lasting impact on school campuses, in communities, and in the lives of youth and women.

BSLS prepares young women to shift and challenge barriers that impacts society globally. We do this by promoting self-confidence, life skills, personal empowerment, education, and career readiness.

Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program

Providing support for people during natural disasters, cancer, education, and homeless. 

We provide immediate assistance and long support during natural disasters when people are forced to evacuate and/or their homes are destroyed leaving them in need of shelter, food, or water. 
We support cancer patients who are unable to pay for medical treatments, copayments, or after care assistance that may not be covered by their insurance. 
We support impoverished students who qualify for a higher education but cannot afford to pay tuition through grants and scholarships.  
We support the homeless by providing shelter, food, and water, as more people than ever are living on the streets without the basic necessities to survive. 
Our staff, volunteers, and those we serve work together to provide assistance to those in need due to circumstances beyond their control to empower the most vulnerable among us and improve their quality of life.
