The Deep Space Exploration Society is a nonprofit organization focused on science and technology. It is based in Colorado Springs, CO. It received its nonprofit status in 2005.

The Deep Space Exploration Society is a Colorado based nonprofit organization dedicated to practical astronomy and space science education for students, the general public, and society members.

Our major project is restoring and operating a 60-foot dish antenna for radio astronomy and amateur radio experimenting.  The site is located in Kiowa County, in Colorado. Since 2009 our volunteer members have been working hard to restore and modernize the antenna and its support facilities.  In addition we support radio astronomy and amateur radio projects with smaller antennas.  And we support educational outreach and raise funds supporting the Kiowa County 4-H Shooting Sports program at our open house. Penguins International is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and protecting penguins around the world. To accomplish this mission, we actively engage in penguin conservation, we educate the public on threats to penguins, and we conduct scientific research investigations to understand penguin biology and best methods for conservation, three activities that go hand-in-hand to fully understand these amazing species of birds and protect them for all to cherish.

Thinking Huts was founded in 2015 with the vision to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow up and achieve their dreams. 

Thinking Huts leverages humanitarian-driven, innovative 3D printing technology to increase global access to education by reducing the overall construction time of schools and creating local jobs to empower thriving communities. BBC World News, Vogue, Forbes, Robb Report, Tatler, World Economic Forum, InStyle, and Business Insider have profiled its work.

Founded by Maggie Grout, Thinking Huts seeks to empower young people, especially girls, to achieve more opportunities by obtaining an education. Grout gave a [TED](https://www.ted.com/talks/maggie_grout_how_we_can_tackle_the_global_education_crisis_with_3d_printing)x talk in 2021 on “how we can tackle the global education crisis with 3D printing.”
