Rooted in the Theravada Buddhist tradition, CIMC is a teaching Center for all who seek inner peace through Insight Meditation.

The Cambridge Insight Meditation Center (CIMC) was established in 1985 as a nonprofit, non-residential urban Center for the practice of Insight Meditation (vipassana). Located in the heart of Cambridge, CIMC provides an environment where the contemplative life can be developed and protected amid the complexities of city living. Here, people of all religious and secular persuasions can come together to learn, support and deepen practice.

Rooted in the Theravada Buddhist tradition, the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center is a welcoming refuge and teaching Center for all who seek inner peace through the liberating practice of Insight Meditation. As a community of practitioners, and as an institution, we endeavor to follow the Buddha’s path of ethics, tranquility, wisdom and compassion. The Middle East Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow – MEET inspires Israeli and Palestinian youth to find common ground. In partnership with MIT since 2004, we teach excelling high school students computer science, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills so they can make a lasting, meaningful change in their communities.

Our cutting-edge three-year program selects the most promising high school students from the region. Each cohort consists of equal numbers of young men and women, and Israelis and Palestinians are equally represented from over 77 localities in Israel and the West Bank/Palestine.

Every year MEET brings together 300 high school students and has over 500 alumni who are already taking their first steps as young leaders towards creating positive social and political change in the Middle East.

Erebuni Armenian School is a nonprofit organization focused on education. It is based in Winchester, MA. It received its nonprofit status in 2019.

The mission of  Erebuni Armenian School is to create an Armenian-speaking environment where children may broaden their interest in the Armenian culture, enhance their knowledge and enjoyment of the language.
We help them to preserve the heritage of the Armenian people, language, culture, traditions and religion.
We believe firmly in the importance of education therefore, we help our students not only to improve their knowledge of Armenian language but to become a well-rounded citizen.

K4PB bridges society’s divides, creating more just, peaceful, and equitable communities through interfaith connection and action

Youth come together year-round to build community—not in spite of their unique identities but precisely because of them, with a specific focus on their religious values—participating in experiential education where they “learn by doing”. Through this experiential learning, youth become aware of how their beliefs, values, and practices can contribute to a more just and civil society. Mosaic operates out-of-school time programs that are designed to prepare young people to become life-long agents of change.

Program participants grow and develop experiencing four distinct and interrelated modalities of learning:

1) eye opening experiences and relationships,

2) skill and knowledge building,

3) acting for social change together as bridge builders, and

4) developing their own authentic identity, values, and beliefs in line with their vision for a more just peace and equitable world.

These four modalities contribute to a cyclical development of learning for the young person, where they continually deepen their fulfillment of the outcomes through greater engagement with Mosaic programs and community.

OUTCOMES: Mosaic participants fulfill three long-term outcomes that make our vision a reality:

1. Youth identify as members of a diverse and interfaith community

2. Youth bridge divides in their communities and beyond

3. Youth identify and act as social action changemakers

Mosaic youth are active participants in changing our world for the better—not just as future leaders—but as leaders right now. Supported and nourished in a robust and diverse community, they understand their central role in the creation of a better world, both identifying as changemakers and taking action to make their visions for a better world a reality.
