We work in four different domains to build and use a strong knowledge base about girls' development in East Africa. Networking - We connect over 300 organizati…ons and facilitate the sharing of best practices in promoting girls' development. Education - We teach girls and their communities about protecting children's rights, and we help them create plans for more inclusive communities. Advocacy - We use what we've learned since 1995 to lobby for national and local policies that promote the enrollment and retention of girls in school. Research - We partner with institutions and individuals from around the world to collect data about interventions that are improving the lives of girls.
