The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is the primary fundraising partner, 501(c)(3), for the Blue Ridge Parkway, providing support for initiatives along the 469-mile route, including historical and cultural preservation, environmental protection, visitor amenities, and education and outreach.

BRC permanently protects natural resources with agricultural, cultural, recreational, ecological and scenic value in northwest NC.

Since its founding in 1997, Blue Ridge Conservancy (BRC) has permanently protected over 22,000 acres in Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes and Yancey Counties in North Carolina. In addition to protecting working farmland, BRC's efforts have resulted in the creation of state natural areas like Beech Creek Bog, Bear Paw and Bullhead Mountain. BRC continues to help Elk Knob State Park, Grandfather Mountain State Park, and Three Top Mountain Game Land expand their borders and led the way in establishing a 2,900-acre State Game Land preserve on Pond Mountain in Ashe County. BRC is also working to construct the Middle Fork Greenway, which will connect the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock via a 6.5-mile paved path for walking, jogging and cycling. BRC's mission is to partner with landowners and local communities to permanently protect natural resources with agricultural, cultural, recreational, ecological and scenic value in northwest North Carolina.

The World Parrot Trust is an international leader in science-based, results-oriented parrot conservation and welfare efforts

Our mission is to: 1) Restore and protect populations of wild parrots and their native habitats; 2) Promote awareness of the threats to all parrots, captive and wild; 3) End the trade in wild-caught parrots; 4) Educate the parrot caregivers and the general public on high standards for the care of pet parrots

With hundreds of chapters and supporters across the U.S. and partners globally, our Together Women Rise community learns about and advocates for gender equality issues, gives grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income communities in the Global South, and build community to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact. 

Since our inception in 2003, we have invested more than 11 million in grants and partnerships supporting women and girls around the world and impacted more than 5 million women, girls, family and community members in over 70 countries.
