Sightsavers works in more than 30 countries worldwide, focusing on Africa and Asia.
We work with local, regional, national and international partners and governments. With their help, we distribute treatments to prevent disease, carry out eye operations, advocate for disability rights and improve health services to create sustainable development projects.

We give small mills everything they need to add vital nutrients into the food that millions of malnourished people eat the most.

Sanku combats hidden hunger and saves lives by giving small mills the tools needed to fortify maize flour, an East African staple. Our mission: Guarantee that every meal consumed by every mother & child contains vital nutrients, forever. 

Worldwide, 8,000 children die every day and 2 billion suffer from preventable illness because their diets lack basic vitamins and minerals. Fortification (adding life-saving micronutrients to processed foods) is the most cost-effective nutrition intervention, but it has failed to reach the 6.5 billion people in developing countries who rely on small, often rural, mills for most of their food.

Sanku developed a technology and business model to enable the small mills that feed the most malnourished people to conveniently and affordably fortify staple grains. Our technology adds precise levels of nutrients into flour during processing and our business model leverages economies of scale to offset any additional costs for millers and their customers, providing Sanku with revenue margins that increase as we scale. We are currently reaching 3 million East Africans with the basic human right of nutritious food and have a plan to reach 100 million this decade, which will prevent millions from death and disease, boost productivity, and save billions of dollars in GDP.  

A donation of ~$1 is enough to give one person access to nutritious food for an entire year, so even a small donation can go a long way in the fight against malnutrition.

Green Network Providers is a nonprofit organization focused on alternative healthcare. It is based in Hingham, MA. since 2018.

Green Network Providers is a non-profit organization that empowers individuals on their wellness journey. They achieve this through a unique network of qualified professionals, including nurse practitioners, herbalists, healers, breathwork specialists, and yoga instructors. This holistic approach supports medication management and promotes overall health improvement.

Funding research with the highest probability of preventing, slowing, or reversing Alzheimer’s disease

Alzheimer’s disease was discovered over 110 years ago. Little was known about the disease and, since then, little more has been learned, until recently.

Frustrated with the slow pace of research about the disease, our founders applied their experience in venture capital and corporate startups to build an organization specifically designed to accelerate research, make bold bets, and eradicate the disease. They also insisted on four key principles to ensure success:

- Fund the world’s leading Alzheimer’s researchers
- Provide rapid review and approvals for submitted grants
- Insist on collaboration among funded scientists
- The board of directors pays for all overhead expenses so that 100% of donations go directly to research

Since our founding in 2004, our unwavering focus has been providing research grants to the worlds’ leading scientists researching Alzheimer’s disease. To date, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund has contributed more than $132,000,000 to Alzheimer’s research. Many of the projects we have funded resulted in significant breakthroughs, developing a deeper understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, and getting closer to a cure.

Giving Trees For Life Inc is a nonprofit organization focused on philanthrophy, voluntarism, or grantmaking. It is based in Sturbridge, MA. It received its nonprofit status in 2002.

This four-day family event is designed to be a holiday activity. The mission of the Festival is to raise money to help the Silent Spring Institute, the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition and The Cancer Center at Harrington Hospital fight the battle against breast cancer and to help fund cancer research. Over the past twenty-four years, the Festival of {Giving} Trees has raised and donated over $786,000 to these beneficiaries.
