We have been extraordinarily fortunate. Rather than gifts, we would be honored if our friends and family would join us in giving something back.
Medicine and service are central to both of our lives, and the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) represents a mission that is particularly meaningful to us. SAMS provides medical care and humanitarian relief to communities affected by conflict, displacement, and crisis, including across Syria and the surrounding region.
For us, supporting this work is also personal. We are incredibly grateful for Noor Elshaar, a friend of Leah's, who connected us to SAMS and their work.
It reflects our shared belief that where someone is born, the circumstances in which they live, or the crises their family has endured should not determine whether they can access compassionate, high-quality medical care.
