Families can be torn apart in moments of crisis, such as custody disputes, separation, and sudden instability. These situations often leave children confused, frightened, and disconnected from the people they depend on most. Parents who want to protect their children and remain actively involved frequently face these challenges without guidance, resources, or a reliable support system.
Riders for Equal Parenting (REP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting parents and protecting children during these critical transitions. Our mission is to strengthen families by providing education, advocacy, and community-based support that keeps children’s safety, stability, and emotional well-being at the center of every decision.
What This Fundraiser Makes Possible
- Our goal is to raise $25,000 to build a strong foundation for sustained, multi-community impact. This funding will allow REP to:
- Provide family education resources that help parents understand processes, responsibilities, and child-focused decision-making
- Expand community-based support and outreach in multiple cities so families can access help locally
- Train and equip volunteers and local chapters to respond compassionately and effectively to families in crisis
- Connect families to trusted service providers and local resources that promote stability and child safety
- Strengthen compliant nonprofit operations to support sustainable growth across regions
