Ramadan is the month of mercy

This Ramadan, your donation can put an iftar on a table, ease hardship, and bring dignity to families who are fasting under pressure.

A A Relief (American Aid) is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We serve as a trusted bridge between generous hearts and families in urgent needwith on-the-ground distribution, documentation, and impact updates.

Areas of impact (Ramadan 2026)

Your Ramadan donation supports vulnerable families across four key regions:

·       Uganda: Food support for poor families and emergency relief for refugees, including Sudanese families in Kiryandongo Refugee Camp.

·       Egypt: Ramadan food boxes for families facing rising prices and unstable income.

·       Lebanon: Ramadan food support for households experiencing ongoing economic hardship.

·       United States (DMV area): Local food assistance and support for vulnerable families and community needs.

What your donation provides

Depending on the greatest need at the time of distribution, your gift helps provide:

·       Ramadan food support for iftar and suhoor (staple foods families can cook and rely on)

·       Emergency relief for refugees and families in crisis

·       Clean water support where safe drinking water is limited

·       Local food assistance for vulnerable families in the DMV community

Why this matters now

For many families, Ramadan arrives with heavy burdensrising prices, limited income, displacement, and food insecurity. Parents often reduce their own meals so children can eat. Refugee families may fast with severe hunger and limited safe water.

Your donation helps families complete Ramadan with stability, relief, and dignity.

Transparency & accountability

We are committed to responsible giving and clear reporting:

·       Photos and videos from deliveries when appropriate

·       Impact updates shared with donors
