The Deep Space Exploration Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to space science  education for underserved communities. 

The Deep Space Exploration Society is a Colorado-based nonprofit organization and charity dedicated to practical astronomy and space science education for students, the general public, and society members.

Our major project is restoring and operating a 60-foot dish antenna for radio astronomy and amateur radio experimenting.  The site is located in Kiowa County, Colorado. Since 2009, our volunteer members have been working hard to restore and modernize the antenna and its support facilities.  Additionally, we support radio astronomy and amateur radio projects using smaller antennas.  We also support educational outreach and support the local community by fund raising at our annual Open House.

c89.5 is listener-supported public radio, playing uplifting dance music and providing career-connected learning for our students.

c89.5 is a listener-supported, non-commercial radio station owned by the Seattle Public Schools and operated by professional adult staff and students in the electronic media program at Nathan Hale High School. The station is almost entirely self-funded: over 87% of its operating revenue comes from listener donations and local businesses.

Over 150,000 listeners throughout Puget Sound tune to c89.5 every week for a diverse range of music celebrating individual differences and focusing on the joy in life. The station reaches a broad range of listeners, with a high concentration in both the 18-24 and 45-54 age ranges. Over 30% of c89.5 listeners identify as LGBTQ+.

c89.5 supports the personal and professional growth of our students, giving them the skills and confidence to succeed in careers in media and other professions. Our students gain practical experience in digital media production, public speaking, and professional presentation. Many of our alumni have gone on to careers in journalism, radio, television, and digital media.

The station is also a pioneer and worldwide leader in dance music, monitored by Neilsen and by MediaBase, and one of eight stations tracked for the Billboard Dance chart.

c89.5 has won numerous awards and is recognized as an influential radio station on the cutting edge of dance music as well as a premier high school broadcast facility.

We have all had times, when we pulled away from God. It’s in our sinful nature to walk away from God and toward anxiety, addiction, workaholism and pride. Regardless of the struggle, it’s in those dark moments that we need a reminder of who we are and how to get back on track. 

For Angie, she turned to drugs after losing hope for her future. Deep in depression, her pain got so unbearable that she tried to hang herself. But the rope broke. In a moment of desperation and anger, Angie cried out to God. That’s when she heard KAMB Celebration Radio in the background, and realized that God was there for her all along. That encouragement moved her to get help. Today, she and her daughter listen to KAMB every morning and are reminded that God’s love is enduring, and that life can be abundant.  

Because of KAMB, Angie and her daughter have a new tomorrow; one filled with hope.
Every hour of every day for the last 52 years, people have turned to KAMB. Their reasons vary. Some tune-in because KAMB provides a safe place for their family to listen. Some tune-in to worship God and be encouraged in their walk with Him. Others are exploring their faith; in fact, 30% of listeners to Christian radio do not personally know Christ. Like Angie, some find answers and hope for their pain. 

Regardless of the reason, KAMB is there for them, inspiring them to personally know Jesus 24 hours per day. Story House Ithaca brings people together to share, study, create, and enjoy stories in all their forms.

Story House Ithaca brings people together around stories. We define “story” very broadly, to include fiction and nonfiction, poetry and song, documentary, journalism, photography, audio, film, theater, puppetry, visual and performance art, graphics, dance, and every other way of communicating ideas and experience. Our definition of “house” is also broad. We hope eventually to settle into our own space, but for now we’re excited to be popping up around the community.

**The Problem**

Our society is going through a period of fracturing, as people of different socioeconomic, cultural, and educational backgrounds divide into ever more insular groups. One reason for this is a lack of opportunities for people to interact in meaningful and non-threatening ways. This has had disastrous consequences in politics, public health, and many other areas.
  
 **Our Approach**

- Story House creates. We dream up, organize, and present workshops, discussions, readings, talks, screenings, exhibitions, performances, participatory projects, and other activities. 
- Story House collaborates. We work with organizations, artists, activists, scholars, and others to plan and present compelling programming. 
- Story House connects. We help creative people and groups find new partners and reach new audiences. 
- Story House empowers. We help members of our community acquire the skills they need to tell the stories they want to tell.

In all our programs and activities, we are committed to creating inclusive spaces that welcome diversity. We strive to foster interactions between people of different cultures, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds, with the goal of working toward shared understanding and a more equitable, anti-racist society.
 
**Our Team**

Lesley Greene (co-director) is a producer, designer, writer, and director. She worked for many years at the Kitchen Theatre Company, where she curated and produced three performance series, created sound and projection designs, and served as chief grant writer and head of marketing. She is a co-founder and co-organizer of Porchfest, a festival that began in Ithaca in 2007 and now takes place in more than 150 cities across North America.
  
Jonathan Miller (co-director) is a writer, journalist, editor, radio producer, podcaster, and media project leader whose work has taken him to more than 20 countries. Since 2006, he has been executive director of Homelands Productions, an award-winning journalism collective that specializes in public radio features and documentaries. Jon serves on the board of Ithaca City of Asylum and coordinates the ONWARDS project, which seeks to help displaced writers, artists, human rights defenders, and scholars find stability in the USA.

We promote community development projects for the most vulnerable, indigenous populations in rural and urban communities.

Mingarã, Association for Sustainable Development, is a non-profit association registered in the General Directorate of Public Records under number 139, folio 1,471 of February 10, 1999. Registered as a taxpayer in the category of non-profit associations in the Ministry of Finance, in the Undersecretary of Taxation, in the Single Registry of Taxpayers RUC: RUC: 80019437-3. 
It has more than 20 years of experience working in community development projects, strengthening local governments, public policy advocacy, participatory governance, and citizen participation, generating impact with territorial actions in water, sanitation, sustainable agricultural production, land use planning, climate change adaptation, and mitigation, and increasing the advocacy and lobbying of civil society organizations in public policies of local governments aimed primarily at the most vulnerable population (indigenous, rural and urban communities). Its projects are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the protection of forests, biodiversity, and ecosystems, and the implementation of actions to adapt to the effects of climate change on the population.
Institutional experience in the last two years: 
Mingarã has led the Participatory Climate Action (2019-2021), working on aspects of Environmental Governance in the Gran Chaco Americano with the cooperation of EUROCLIMA+ and the European Union, with the support of Expertise France and GIZ. The action was developed in the Argentinean and Paraguayan Chaco with Gestión Ambiental (Py), the Unión Iberoamericana de Municipalistas (Spain), Fundación Plurales (Arg) and the Municipality of Philadelphia (Py). 
It is implementing the project Voces del Chaco para la Acción Climática in cooperation with Avina with funds from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands in the VAC Program. We support young people from 3 indigenous peoples in their insertion in local plans for adaptation to climate change, community radio communicators, and sectoral governance of water and sanitation in the Chaco. 
In 2021 it developed the consultancy for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) of the arrival to Territory to the potential beneficiaries/participants of the PROEZA Project linked to Poverty, Reforestation, Energy, and Climate Change. The project benefits peasant and indigenous communities in the Department of San Pedro (Eastern Region). The project involves diagnosing and selecting Agroforestry System Models for 1,630 peasant and indigenous families. 
Likewise, Mingarã developed projects of "Safe Return" to post-pandemic schools COVID-19; Sustainable Management of Water and Sanitation; "Resilient Schools," and Disaster Risk Management and Reduction in schools of the Paraguayan Central Chaco in cooperation with UNICEF and the European Union, benefiting more than 10,000 children and adolescents of 120 indigenous schools and 320 trained teachers. We have been a local strategic ally in Humanitarian Aid since 2008. 
In Pandemia del COVID-19, we have supported the use of technology in isolated communities far from urban centers, the revitalization of community radio stations, and the development of a new radio network.
We have developed experience in actions for the promotion and commercialization of indigenous peoples' handicrafts, supporting the operation of permanent handicraft exhibition centers, open-air fairs, and national and international events with the support of the Inter-American Foundation (IAF) of the US government. 
In the future, the projections of our work are oriented to focus actions on reducing the gaps in the fulfillment of the SDGs at the local level, facilitating the obtaining of resources to implement water infrastructure projects, sanitation, provision of equipment to alternative media in rural and indigenous areas, development of digital technology for civil society organizations in advocacy and lobbying on human rights, democracy, gender, youth.

Redeschaco: a network of networks oriented to achieve the visibility of vital issues and collective actions in the Gran Chaco Americano that allow the generation of governance. This is understood as the creation and strengthening of Citizenship and the incidence of activities in concerted public policies—articulation between NGOs, Grassroots Organizations, Companies, and Public Agencies. 
Citizen Observatory of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (OSCASH): is a coalition of civil society organizations that was created to contribute to the fulfillment of SDG 5. 
Water and Sanitation Inter-Institutional Roundtable (MIAS Chaco): integrated by Non-Governmental Organizations, Grassroots Organizations, Academia, Central Government Institutions, Local Governments, and Cooperation Agencies linked to the water and sanitation sector in the Chaco whose objective is to articulate the actions of the different institutions, advocacy, and lobbying in the sector's public policies. 
Climate Finance Roundtable: a coalition of environmental NGOs interested in making feasible the financing of actions aimed at climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Movement uplifts the stories and songs of immigrant musicians via podcast, radio, community building and live performances. 

Movement is a music discovery platform that highlights the sonic innovations blooming from immigrant communities and builds connection across immigrant communities through musical collaborations. 

Our podcast is now in its 3rd season and has featured world renowned musicians like June Millington (Phillippines/US), Ana Tijoux (Chile/Frane), Peter One (Nashville/Cote D’Ivoire), Ali Sethi (Pakistan/NYC), Satomi Matsuzaki (Japan/US), Larry and Joe (Venezula/US), Oddisee (Sudan/US) and many more. Our stories have reached over 10 million listeners via features on PRX’s The World, Snap Judgement, Radiotopia Presents, KCRW,  WAMU, Immigrantly, Daily Zeitgeist, Podcast Delivery, the LA Times, Washington Post, the Guardian and many more. 

Our San Francisco based Movement Immigrant Orchestra brings together 11 musicians from 10 countries to share their cultural power and resilience with each other and the broader Bay Area community. 

Movement is hosted by Ethiopian-American singer-composer and former refugee Meklit Hadero and was co-created by Meklit, sound designer/producer Ian Coss and editor/producer Julie Caine.

Decentered Arts is where we speak our truth, learn with open minds and heal collectively. It’s a space that fosters diversity, inclusivity and a profound sense of belonging, bringing hope and energy to create change in a climate of powerlessness. Now more than ever, we need each other. 

**Our Approach**

Nurturing Talent: Encouraging emerging and underrepresented artists by facilitating their development through mentorship, curation opportunities, workshops, performances, and community.

In-Person Experiences: Holding community events such as open mics, readings, fashion shows, and exhibitions with multimedia appeal. 

Spreading The Word: Publishing and promoting the work of artists and local art collectives through our Eventracker, newsletter, publishing press, record label, digital content, and culture blog.

We Are Finesse; was founded in May 2019 by a millennial suicide attempt survivor.

 We Are Finesse; exists to revolutionize one of the defining issues of our generation: the concerning global suicide, self-harm, and mental health crisis in young individuals evolving in the midst of today’s culture. WAF; is keen on de-stigmatizing conversations around these topics by being there and actually talking about it! 

 **Our Vision:**
WAF; will reduce the rates of suicide and self-harm while improving the mental health outcomes of young people worldwide by creating innovative technology and practical resources to close the treatment gap between those in need of care and those who can provide it. We will increase suicide/self-harm/mental health education normalcy, awareness, and prevention to ensure everyone considers it a priority in today’s world. We aim to empower young people to revolutionize suicide, self-harm, and mental health globally by being their own advocates in their respective communities.
