Put Africa’s LGBTIQ+ entrepreneurs on the global funding map

Raised

Goal
$10,000

Across Africa, LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs are launching businesses, creating jobs, and fueling local economies — all while navigating deeply entrenched legal and social persecution. And while the talent is there, the systems are not. Yet. Queer-owned enterprises are locked out of formal finance and procurement and investment pipelines. QACC is changing that. As Africa’s first chamber of commerce dedicated to LGBTQIA+ enterprises, we’re building the investment infrastructure that unlocks this overlooked market — turning innovative entrepreneurs into engines for inclusive growth.

To realize this good work, it's necessary to attend and participate in global events that reach the right audience. We are raising funds for the 3 founders of the QACC Africa so they can attend: Koppa’s Global LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Finance Forum in New York City, from 9-11 October 2025. This global forum brings together leaders across finance, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and activism for candid conversations on building more inclusive financial systems, and advancing LGBTIQ+ economic inclusion.

The total cost to send all three founding members of QACC from Nairobi to New York —including flights, visas, accommodation, and meals — is $10,000. Join us and help the QACC attend this important finance forum so they can continue building strong global alliances for inclusive prosperity.

Support economic empowerment for queer entrepreneurs: the power of the Pink economy!
