Welcome to Panaah Communities, where we're dedicated to transforming the lives of over 700 children and teenagers from the low-income communities of Pune, India. With a compassionate team of 55 members across four centers, we commit every day to providing high-quality learning experiences in a nurturing environment. Our Center of Excellence has the capacity to accommodate 550 children, creating a hub of opportunity and learning. However, located 1.5 to 2 kilometers away from several densely populated areas, the center currently serves 220 children, with only 45-50 of them receiving transportation assistance. Many eager learners remain on our waitlist—over 100 are waiting specifically for transportation—leaving their potential untapped due to the simple challenge of reaching our facilities safely.
Today, we ask for your help to change this.
We aim to raise $12,000 to secure safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for our students. By transitioning from precarious rickshaw rides to either a 17-seater mini bus or two 12-seater vans, we can not only ensure their safety but also expand our daily transport capacity from 45-50 children to 200. This crucial upgrade will allow us to move closer to our maximum capacity and reduce the waitlist significantly.
