I am asking for your help. Many of you may have heard about the destructive flooding currently happening in Poland. The area hit hardest (Lower Silesia) also happens to be the one closest to my heart, where my mother hailed from, where I spent my early childhood, summers with grandparents, and now return to with my own child. Dams have been overwhelmed, and entire neighborhoods have been drowned. If you have the ability to, please consider donating to an organization (for example, this link to the Red Cross) and help people rebuild their lives. May the rains cease, waters recede, and the sun come out. May the people of Poland know that kind strangers across vast (other) waters care. Thank you.
