First Aid for Humanity

Polish society is characterized by a lack of confidence in rescue skills and a high prejudice toward diversity. Only 19% of Poles feel confident in their ability to provide first aid, which means many people avoid taking action in emergencies.

Additionally, Poland is one of the most homogeneous societies in Europe, with limited exposure to cultural or social diversity. Prejudice against LGBTQ+ individuals, Muslims, or people experiencing homelessness often stems from a lack of direct contact with these groups, and negative attitudes are reinforced by stereotypes. The Polish Red Cross wants to educate and show that every person—regardless of background, nationality, gender, or sexual orientation—deserves help and a dignified life. Help us deliver aid—everywhere and for everyone.

The oldest humanitarian organization in Poland.
