The urgent need to equip PDMSh medevac vehicles with advanced electronic warfare (EW) systems stems from the growing threat posed by FPV (first-person view) drones. These drones are increasingly being used to target medical vehicles, making them a serious obstacle to providing emergency care and a direct danger to both medical personnel and patients.

Since 2014, PDMSh has played a critical role in delivering life-saving medical assistance to areas with limited healthcare access. We have operated in over 50 high-risk locations and responded to a wide range of medical emergencies. More than 1,000 volunteers—including medics—have served with us, with over 400 honored for their outstanding contributions.

Our medics have treated over 100,000 patients, with more than 45,000 assisted since May 2022 alone. While our medevac vehicles have been essential in these efforts, the current security environment demands urgent upgrades—specifically, the installation of EW systems capable of countering drone threats.

Equipping our vehicles with this protective technology will dramatically improve both safety and effectiveness. It will allow medics to reach the wounded, deliver care in hostile environments, and return safely—ensuring that our vehicles remain lifelines, not targets.

Meeting this need will strengthen our ability to respond swiftly, safely, and reliably—ensuring that even those in the most dangerous or remote locations continue to receive the medical care they desperately need.

Evacuating the wounded and sick at the front since 2014. Largest civilian medical volunteer team saving lives for 10 years.
