Olivia's Giving Day - support whole person cancer care

Celebrate Olivia's birthday on 26 September by supporting something that was incredibly close to her heart. 

When Olivia imagined the cancer centre that would one day carry her name, she wanted it to be about more than treating cancer.  

She believed people should be cared for as a whole person - mind, body and spirit.  

That belief helped shaped the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, in Melbourne, Australia, where people facing cancer can access wellness and supportive care at no cost, alongside their treatment.  

For someone going through cancer, that can mean exercise physiology to help rebuild strength, psychology support when things feel overwhelming, or simply having somewhere calm and welcoming to go between appointments. 

And that support is needed more than ever. Demand for cancer wellness sessions has increased by a third in just two years.  

This week, as we celebrate Olivia's birthday, we are inviting her friends in the USA to help make sure this care continues to be there for people facing cancer.
