ACT NOW’s Breaking Bread initiative brings neighbors with opposing viewpoints together to share a meal, tell their stories, build trust, and solve local challenges. Having engaged more than 20,000 citizens through 40+ events nationwide, we are now expanding to 10 new cities in partnership with former Governor David Beasley, who led the World Food Programme when it received the Nobel Peace Prize.
