Unlike a traditional kitchen garden that needs constant watering and dies in a drought, a Kura!!!Kura!!! garden harvests and banks rainwater, rebuilds soil through double-dug beds and natural fertilizers, and layers trees, perennials, and crops that produce food and income all year long. Families are trained and mentored by certified permaculture leaders drawn from the refugee community itself, so the knowledge stays and spreads.
