πΏ Firmrock Sanctuary Farm & Stay
A Model of Hope, Food Security, and Sustainable Living in Rural Kenya
π Who We Are
Firmrock Initiative is a grassroots movement from Kitui County, Kenya β a region deeply affected by drought, hunger, and poverty. Iβm Noah David, the founder. I grew up in these conditions, where food was scarce, children dropped out of school to survive, and the environment was degraded by desperation.
Firmrock was born to break that cycle β using sustainable farming, local training, and community empowerment to build a different future.
We believe that when people are nourished, trained, and connected, transformation is possible.
π± What Weβre Building
Weβve already started growing cassava and sweet potatoes on leased land. Weβve also trained over 30 youth and women, and our goal is to train 250 more over the next 1β2 years. Each one will be supported to replicate the model on their own land β at least Β½ acre per person β using shared tools and knowledge.
But this is just the beginning.
We are raising support to build Firmrock Sanctuary Farm & Stay β a 10-acre demonstration farm, volunteer hub, and eco-learning space where sustainable agriculture meets social change.
This space will serve as a living classroom, a healing environment, and a rural innovation center.
π― Our Vision
To become a vibrant sanctuary of transformation where farming, training, and global exchange intersect to uplift rural communities in arid regions.
π Our Mission
To sustainably feed, train, and connect people through innovative agriculture, value addition, and immersive farm experiences.
