The Sursock Resilience Fund | Protect a Cultural Heritage
- Raised
- $2,350
- Goal
- $45,000
The war that began in Lebanon on March 2, 2026 has already displaced more than 1,000,000 persons, leaving neighborhoods, homes and institutions vulnerable. As the crisis deepens, public spaces are being occupied by families forced to flee their towns and villages. Many cultural institutions now face serious security threats.
The Sursock Museum, an architectural jewel and the home of Lebanon’s first modern and contemporary art collections must urgently reinforce the security of its building and protect the invaluable works it preserves for the nation and the world.
With fundraising activities suspended due to the war, the Museum is launching an emergency appeal to raise $45,000 to maintain essential security and safeguard its collections.
At this critical moment, your support can help protect a unique cultural heritage and ensure that Lebanon’s artistic memory endures despite the crisis. Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for supporting and sharing with your networks.
