Margot for Mobility Worldwide

I have been working with Mobility Worldwide for about 13 years. Working in the shop, serving on the board, traveling to shops around the country, and most memorably going to Haiti and Liberia to distribute our carts.  

When you are in the presence of our recipients you of course see their disability, pain, and difficult lives. However, when you get to meet them you realize their strength, perseverance, and often amazing faith.  

I feel great admiration for the people we serve and I know our carts alleviate some of the difficulty in their lives and often provide opportunities that have been denied. Even though my greatest cheerleader and partner David is no longer with me, I am still dedicated to the work of Mobility Worldwide in providing mobility for so many who need it. I will continue to share my time, efforts, and gifts with this amazing mission.

Christ said, “The last will be first, and the first will be last” (Matthew 20:16). I believe with all my heart that we are serving people He holds especially dear, those often overlooked, yet deeply valued by God. 

Someday, I know I will see our recipients at the side of Christ and he will give me a little nod, knowing that I helped those he loved. 

Please consider helping me and Mobility Worldwide with our mission, serving people who are in great need and often the last to receive assistance.  Mobility Worldwide does not serve masses of people at a time.  We serve individuals who deserve to have a better life.
