Our Community garden is a space where families grow food, strengthen wellness, reconnect with their roots, and build community together.
We know wellness begins in the community. And this space is an extension of our mission to create healthier, stronger, and more connected families across Lake County.
Through this community garden, families have access to fresh organic food, educational opportunities, mental wellness spaces, and meaningful connections that bring generations together.
Our 4 Community Priorities
- Continue Distributing Organic Food Help families continue accessing fresh, healthy, and organic food grown within our community.
- Garden Plots for Elementary Students Create educational spaces where children can learn about sustainability, nutrition, and healthy living through hands-on experiences.
- Infrastructure Improvements Improve water access, tools, pathways, supplies, and sustainable infrastructure to strengthen the future of the garden.
- Community Garden Workshops Provide workshops that teach gardening, wellness, sustainability, and healthy living for families of all ages.
