Small Dollars, Big Impact: Malaria Prevention

Raised

Malaria is life-threatening disease passed to humans by mosquitoes, mostly found in tropical countries. It is curable and preventable, however, in countries such as Nigeria, Togo and Cambodia (countries across Africa and Asia) experience severe levels of malaria due to their year-round warmth, native home to deadlier mosquitoes such as Anopheles Gambiae, and most significantly, their lack of funding. Annually, in Nigeria, an estimated of 185,000 to 200,000 people die from Malaria with children making up roughly 60%-75% of this amount. You may think that your few measly dollars won't help, however, that is what is holding back those children from getting the treatment that truly need. $7 is all you need to help a child's life. Make a bigger impact with small dollars.
