Generous donations play a vital role in supporting MCCLR’s groundbreaking mission to create new first language Cree speakers on the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation—a milestone that has not been reached in over half a century. By investing in our work, you help give our children, the true voices of the future, the opportunity to learn and speak our tribal language, empowering them to understand and embrace their identity.

In Fall 2026, MCCLR will launch an immersion class for infants aged 0-1 in partnership with Rocky Boy Head Start. This innovative program will connect our youngest generation with the remaining 70 first language Cree speakers out of our 7,000 tribal members, laying the foundation for these babies to become the first new native speakers in more than 50 years. Your support ensures that the language, culture, and identity of our tribe will not only survive, but thrive in generations to come.
