LHEE is a nonprofit org focused on education for kids. It is based in Cedar City, UT. It received its nonprofit status in 2018.

Living Hope was started by a mom, after losing her teenage daughter to brain cancer. It's purpose is to empower the most vulnerable girls and boys, with many types of educational opportunities. Some of the projects included in our mission are supporting an elementary school of 200 children in rural Pakistan, supporting a skills center for teen mothers in Eastern Uganda, providing school supplies and fees to vulnerable children and teens in various parts of Uganda, and providing laptops and data fees to young adult online students in various parts of the world. We also provide education on feminine hygiene to students whenever possible. Our operating expenses are covered by a few special donors so 100% of all other donations go directly to the children. We have a rigorous application and follow up process for potential recipients of our support, which includes online applications, verification of entity (school or community based organization) documents, and visits from local volunteers and Rotary International club members. We require many of our recipients in Uganda to earn half of the needed funds first themselves, and then we offer a match. So then they can pay off their school fees, and their children can progess to the next grade. We also require receipts for school supplies, books, lunches, fees and and other services for which we provide, so use of funds can be verified in more than one way.

Your donations are providing a hand up, not a handout---helping children stay in school, while encouraging local caretakers and vulnerable families to take ownership and responsibility too. Together, we're building something sustainable: education, poverty alleviation, dignity and long-term hope. "Mankind is our business."
