Dear Friends,
I am Jenni, President of Living Hope Education from the USA and I’m fundraising for the Mulangira Children Foundation in Uganda. This organization was founded in 2019 by director, Michael Sserunjogi, who I've know for several years now. I've had a fellow Rotary International member of the Mengo Club in Kampala, visit Micheal and verify his work.
Michael says, "“Right now at Mulangira Children Foundation, we are caring for more than 50 orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, with 26 children living under our direct care here in Entebbe. We are a community based, nonprofit organization.
In the midst of political turbulence and uncertainty, our greatest concern is safety. These children have already endured so much loss, and they deserve a place where they can sleep peacefully, learn, and heal—without fear. That’s why our most urgent goal is to purchase our own land and build a secure home for them. If we can move into a permanent space, we won’t be at the mercy of changing rental situations or sudden displacement. A stable, protected home would allow us to care for the children with consistency, dignity, and peace of mind.
Your donation—no matter the size—helps us provide what these children need most: safe shelter, food, clean water and sanitation, clothing, education, and healthcare. It also helps us respond when emergencies arise and continue reaching children who are suffering, including those who are sick in the hospital, by extending love and practical help.
