The Lake Stevens Community Food Bank is a non-profit agency, in collaboration with the community, that respectfully serves ample and nutritious food to residents in need. Our vision is to exemplify the charitable spirit of our community by providing a nutrition safety net for residents in need.
Lake Stevens Community Food Bank partners with about 100 volunteers to serve approximately 200 families each week. Volunteers and staff procure, sort, store and distribute fresh and non-perishable food to families in partnership with 4 community churches in our mobile distribution.
Assembly of God Church, Calvary Chapel and The Lake Church all have committed to serving as mobile distribution sites for our communities' families in addition to our founding site at Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
As our community grows, our original location, a small portion of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church basement, limited us in how many families we were able to serve and the amount of food we were able to offer. Despite our best efforts, there are still many hungry families in our community. Our Partners at Assembly of God Church, Calvary Chapel, the Lake Church and our original site Partner, Ebenezer Lutheran Church have allowed us to expand to all 4 points of the compass in Lake Stevens weaving a net of food security for all.
We have the worst conditions of any food bank in the county, but we are determined to remedy that! We are raising funds for a new Food Bank facility that will allow us to serve our community for many years to come.
