Jay's 50th Birthday Fundraiser

26 years ago, I started The Know Theatre Tribe with some theatre friends from Xavier University. We were seeking to spotlight untold stories and provide opportunities for artists.

I’m so proud that Know Theatre has grown and continues to tell those stories that need a spotlight. So many of my favorite artists and playwrights have opportunities through our Mainstage or programming like Serials! and the Fringe Festival.

Know Theatre creates an artistic playground where artists and audiences can come together to produce and experience work that could not be done anywhere else.

For my 50th birthday, please consider a gift to Know Theatre.

Regional theatres are not doing well. So many institutions we know and love across the nation have closed their doors in the past year (Artist's Rep, Lookingglass, Center Theatre Group, to name a few). Audiences have not returned to pre-pandemic levels and charitable giving at all levels has declined significantly.

If we believe in the need for diverse arts in Cincinnati, Know Theatre is an essential part of that spectrum. Know Theatre has always been adaptable and able to function on a lean budget. They need your support now more than ever to help rebuild our audience base and continue to tell those untold stories.
