Update: PROJECT COMPLETE!

Soon after this fundraiser went live, the Rotary E-Club of Ukraine informed us that the project was complete! Sadly, that news isn't as great as it sounds, though: the front lines have moved very close to the Kramatorsk hospital, and we fear that soon it will be taken over by Russia. We decided to move our support to a different hospital--a smaller one, which only needed 4 beds for the Burn Unit.

These beds have already been purchased and will soon be installed at Kamenske Hospital, to serve the Dnipro area.

We thank everyone who contributed to this project! Together, we have helped ease the suffering of the victims of war in Ukraine.

A new kind of bed has been developed for Burn Patients. One almost like a hammock, made of metal mesh that won't twist or wrap or pull when the patient moves. One that allows air to circulate freely and promote healing.

The Rotary E-Club of Ukraine and the band Kommuna Lux have partnered to bring 10 of these beds to the front-line Kramatorsk Hospital in Ukraine. For this special fundraiser, 100% of your donation will be applied to the Burn Unit Bed project.

KMLX is a fully volunteer organization with no headquarters and no overhead--we are small but mighty! The only "loss" is the fee charged by Every.org to process your donation--and you can opt to pay these small fees yourself!

You are always welcome to see Kommuna Lux perform and make your contribution at the concert. In general, a donation at any Kommuna Lux concert is automatically shared with the Rotary at a rate of 30%. The remaining 70% goes to other causes in Ukraine. We occasionally work with local Rotary clubs to specifically support this Burn Unit Bed project at our show. If your local Rotary would like to set up a fundraising concert, contact our management to arrange a wonderful event!

These new beds are in demand throughout Ukraine. We plan to reach the $25,000 goal set by the Rotary E-Club of Ukraine, to fund 10 such beds at the Kramatorsk hospital. That campaign is currently funded at $8000. If we can exceed that goal, the Rotary E-Club can offer beds to additional hospitals!
