Imagine being a child, longing for your mother’s embrace, but she’s behind bars for an offense linked to poverty. For too many children in Kenya, this is their reality. Their mothers—often incarcerated for minor, non-violent offenses—serve time without access to legal aid, basic dignity, or even the chance to see their children.

This Mother’s Day, we are launching Pendo la Mama | Mama’s Love, a 40-day campaign dedicated to:

💖 Providing care packages with hygiene essentials, baby supplies, and books for mothers and children in prison, children left at home, and those mothers who have just left prison.
