Fundraising for Justice Workers Rest

Through our partnership with the POWERHOUSE Residency, JustMedia has supported three Black female-identifying writers with their restoration. POWERHOUSE exists as a residency, a retreat space, a refuge for New York City based Black, Brown, Queer, Trans and other Othered folx. It is a homeplace and safe space for artists, activists, creatives, and free-thinkers. Writers were able to spend time in nature, to practice self-care, and to create their own individual projects. We aim to house another round of justice workers, artists, creators, and advocates impacted by mass incarceration.
