Brooklyn Food Tour X JDC Israel fundraiser

Hi! I’m Rachel, and I’m the host of Brooklyn Food Tour. It’s difficult to put into words the devastation felt for Israel. I’m hoping to mobilize friends and family to fundraise for JDC, an organization that will be using this money for mental health resources for Israeli children, training front line workers to care for impacted children, improving nursing home capacity for elderly Israelis, and providing emergency support for disabled Israelis. Their work is fully humanitarian— no matter how you feel about Israeli policies or the war, JDC is an organization we should be willing to rally behind.

We will be doing a food tour fundraiser, which will stop at 3 Israeli or Israel-supporting restaurants in Williamsburg. Learn about the Jewish history of Williamsburg, and how Jewish people were instrumental to forming the neighborhood it is today.

Suggested donation is $20 (does not include the cost of food), and there is a minimum donation of $5 to attend the tour. Cost of food will be Venmo requested (or send $20 to @rachel-kaplan-12)
