Empowering Global Scientists: Join the Matching Challenge

ICTP’s Physics Without Frontiers (PWF) program inspires, teaches, and trains university physics and mathematics students in the Global South to build the next generation of scientists. To date, PWF has impacted over 10,000 students across 50 countries—delivering 39 vital educational projects just last year alone.

By tailoring hands-on training, science diplomacy, and mentorship to each country's specific needs, PWF creates collaborative environments for students who need it most.

Why Your Support Matters

o   Maximizing Your Gift: PWF operates via a network of over 100 passionate volunteer scientists (PhDs, postdocs, and lecturers). Because they donate their time, your contribution goes directly toward the actual costs of student training.

Double Your Impact Today

In addition to making an outright contribution of $12,500, distinguished ICTP supporter Carl Feinberg has generously pledged another matching gift of $12,500. This means every dollar you contribute today will be instantly doubled up to that amount, helping us ultimately raise $37,500 to directly fund upcoming PWF training projects.

The Challenge: Help us unlock the $12,500 match!

Don’t let this opportunity pass by.

Thank you for your continued support of global science.
